FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
FAQ for Residential Services
When do you bill?
Billing is bimonthly for residential customers. No hidden fees, such as billing fees, fuel surcharge fees, and environmental fees!
Will there be additional fees charged?
Do you charge to deliver our toter?
No, we do not charge for toter delivery.
Additional charges will be assessed if there is any waste besides household garbage. This would include, but not limited to C&D, furniture, or an excessive amount of garbage that exceeds the bins given.
What areas do you service?
We provide waste and recycling services for Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Greene, and Saratoga Counties for residential pick-up. Please call us to inquire if we service your area.
What is your holiday schedule?
If the holiday falls on your pickup day, we will pick up your garbage on the Thursday for that week only. We observe the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thansgiving, and Christmas.
FAQ for Roll-Offs
What are things that I should consider for protecting my driveway?
You should consider the weight on your driveways and property– particularly cement driveways—to avoid cracking. Sorry, we are not responsible for damage to your driveway. Fortunately, there is usually a way to resolve this issue. Call us to inquire more!
How can I put roll-off containers on asphalt?
When placing roll-off containers on asphalt, 2” by 6” pieces of wood that are at least 4’ long should be placed under the wheels of the roll-off, so as not to sink into the asphalt.
What about concrete?
When placing a roll-off on concrete, wood is not always necessary, but it could help avoid slight scratching. If any scratching occurs at all, it typically wears off.
How should the load be prepared?
When loading the container, the load must be level with the top of the container (not higher than the container!). Nothing can stick out of the side of the container. We must tarp the load (it’s the law!). Safety is a top priority. (Load the dumpster like it was your coffee cup not an ice cream cone.)
Can you handle construction waste?
We have 20 and 30 yard containers available for demolition and other larger construction jobs. For new home construction or remodeling, 10 and 15 yard containers are commonly used.
How do you accept payments?
We accept cash, check, VISA, and MasterCard payment upon delivery.
